Every install in the $5,497 program carries a written limited workmanship warranty. Here is what it covers and how a claim works.

Installation workmanship
Covers our workmanship on the install: securing, leveling, and alignment of the cabinets we installed, for 2 years from project completion.

Doors, drawers, and hardware fit
Covers adjustment of doors, drawer fronts, and the soft-close hardware we installed so everything closes flush and quiet.
Manufacturer
The cabinets themselves
The cabinet boxes, doors, hinges, slides, and factory finishes carry the manufacturer warranty on the product. Ask us for the current terms at your estimate.
What coverage includes
- Inspect the affected area to determine the cause of the issue
- Repair workmanship defects in the installation we performed
- Provide the labor and materials needed to complete the repair
- Re-set, re-level, or re-align the specific cabinets where the defect occurred
What it does not cover
- Normal wear, denting, scratching, or damage from daily use, moisture, or impact
- Damage from water leaks, plumbing, flooding, storms, or other acts of God
- Customer-supplied materials or work performed against our recommendation
- Product defects covered separately by the manufacturer warranty
- Color change or natural variation in wood and finishes over time
- Work altered or repaired by another party after our project, including countertop installation by your fabricator
How to file a claim

We schedule an inspection
We schedule an on-site inspection within 14 business days. Have your original contract or invoice handy.
We determine coverage
We inspect the area to determine whether the issue was caused by our workmanship, and explain our findings plainly.
We fix it at no cost
If the inspection confirms a workmanship defect, we complete the repair at no additional cost, to the same standard as the original install.
The walkthrough before we leave
We finish every install with a walkthrough at your side. Every door gets opened, every drawer gets closed, every reveal gets checked. Alignment and adjustment concerns raised at the walkthrough or within 48 hours get handled at no charge.
This limited workmanship warranty is provided by Westchase Painting Company LLC (operating as Tampa Kitchen Cabinets) and is the sole and exclusive warranty for workmanship, in lieu of all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law. Liability is limited to repair of the specific area where the workmanship defect occurred and shall not exceed the original contract price. Product defects are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty. This warranty applies to the original customer and is not transferable unless agreed in writing. Per Chapter 558, Florida Statutes, construction-defect claims are subject to the notice and cure provisions of that chapter. Your signed contract states the controlling terms.
